Tired of all your summer toys? Here's a new one that might perk up your interest - a ball that bounces in water. Known as the Waboba Ball, it has become this year's must-have summer toy all over the world.
While it looks like an ordinary ball, its combination of plastics and water-resistant lycra coating allow it to float in water when resting, but bounce really high when thrown. It works really well in the ocean or in a swimming pool but not on solid ground.
The Waboba is the brainchild of Swedish Inventor, Jan Von Heland who thought of the idea when he was trying to get his Frisbee to bounce in the water.
He spent a number of years trying to design and manufacture a ball that would do the job. The ball became an intant craze inAustralia when it hit the market late last year, and now it's gaining popularity all across the globe.
Judging from the video below, it looks like great fun and at a cost of about $8USD, not too expensive either. If you have it or get it let us know if it's as cool as it looks by adding your reviews below. To find more details on where you can purchase it go to http://www.waboba.com/
