While there have been many ultra-luxury yachts built in the past, very few come even close to this latest one. Dubbed 'Sovereign Yacht', the 300-Foot luxury boat that is modeled after a limousine, is the creation of Swedish firm Gray Design, that specializes in super cars and super yachts or as is the case here, a combination of both. And, while it is called Sovereign, anybody can buy this luxurious floating home, as long as, they can afford the $132mm USD it is reputed to cost.
In case you are wondering what you get for that kind of money, here is a rundown. First of all is the radical design. Since the wealthy like to travel in luxurious limousines, the company designers decided to emulate a similar shape for the yacht - The result, is a sleek, futuristic-looking floating vehicle that the company believes gives the boat an 'extremely low-profile'.
Inside the floating limousine lie 10 guest suites and extensive private quarters, all furnished tastefully by Italian designer Giorgio Armani. To keep occupants busy during the day, the yacht features an infinity pool and a golfing green, which doubles up as pet/ kids play area. A warm Jacuzzi that can be covered with a retractable sun roof, is also available for those who just want to laze around. In the evenings, guests can either retreat for a cozy movie inside a private cinema or, party all night at the nightclub.
Of course, no matter how luxurious the venue, nobody wants to be stuck inside a yacht for too long - To get out and about, guests can either fly in and out by helicopter, thanks to the glass helicopter pad situated in the middle of the infinity pool or, drive off in the sleek limousine that comes with the yacht.
The best part is, that despite all these amazing features, the Sovereign is completely eco-friendly, thanks to a huge wind turbine that garners power from the wind and, an array of solar panels on the roof that capture energy from the sun. Now, if we could only afford to buy it!
