Many parts of the Northern Hemisphere have experienced a rather severe winter this year. However, very few can be compared to that felt by the residents of some parts of Russia where the temperatures have dipped as low as -50°Ç (-58°F) - Some of the lowest recorded in the area in the last 50 years!

You will be when you see the video filmed by a Novosibirsk resident, who took a boiling pot of water and tossed it off his balcony - While in any other place this would result in scalding a passerby underneath, here there was no danger. That's because thanks to the extremely cold temperatures, the liquid instantly froze into icicles - Brrr!
